Dr. Chandrana obtained her medical degree from the University of Bombay and completed her psychiatry residency at Loyola University.

Dr. Chandarana has been board certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology, Psychiatry & Neurology, and Geriatric Psychiatry. Her professional interests and specialties include adult and geriatric psychiatry, women’s issues, the well-being of couples and families. Dr. Chandarana has been affiliated with numerous hospitals, most recently Presence Mercy
Medical Center (Amita Health) in Aurora, IL.

Dr. Chandarana has treated patients at Conventions Psychiatry & Counseling since 2013. She is also the author of multiple publications, including “How the Mind Works” and “Well Integrated Immigrant” (2019). Originally from Bombay, India, Dr. Chandarana is well-traveled and speaks English and Hindi fluently, with some knowledge of Spanish, German and Japanese.

In her free time, Dr. Chandarana enjoys golf, tennis, pickle ball, singing, dancing, gardening, reading and writing.
