Anju graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Gulbarga University, Karnataka, India, in 1998. She achieved her Master of Science in Nursing from Lewis University in 2020. Anju holds her FNP-BC from American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) and her APRN in the state of IL.
Anju’s philosophy of care as an advanced practitioner continues from her nursing practice: To provide compassionate, client-centered, holistic care with the common goal of achieving and maintaining wellness. This professional philosophy helped to earn her the “the Daisy Award for extraordinary nurses” in 2019. Anju has cared for patients suffering from all types of illness, including alcohol and substance use. She believes that holistic care is critical to good patient care and necessary for complete healing of body, mind, and soul.
Anju was born in India and speaks English and Malayalam. She is currently accepting new patients of all ages at Conventions Psychiatry & Counseling.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, and gardening, as well as traveling with family across the country and around the world. She is passionate about contributing to the community by volunteering at health fairs and vaccination clinics.
