Date Began Practicing: Angelica joined Conventions in August of this year! This is her second internship of her Master’s program at Aurora University. Angelica has experience working at Timberline Knolls as a behavioral health associate, at Abraxas Youth and Family Services as a direct service technician and a counseling intern, and as an ABA therapist working with children on the autism spectrum. Angelica has a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Northern Illinois University where she graduated in 2020, and is working on her Master of Social Work (MSW- Healthcare Specialization) and is planning to graduate May of 2025. Angelica is open to working with clients of all ages struggling with substance abuse, eating disorders, depression, anxiety, eating disorders, etc. Angelica wants to reassure that we have the power to overcome the challenges that come our way. Hobbies include going to the gym, going on walks with her dog, reading, and spending time with her friends and family.
