Latavia earned her Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Sciences with an emphasis in Family Social Services from Northern Illinois University in 2022. She is currently a second year Master’s level Social Work student at Aurora University and is expected to graduate in May 2026. As an MSW intern, Latavia is gaining hands-on experience in a clinical setting while learning how to apply skills and concepts to real situations. She is especially interested in working with adolescents and children. 

In her free time, Latavia enjoys traveling and spending quality time with her family. Her favorite quote is, “It always seems impossible until it’s done,” by Nelson Mandela.
