Sarah Tyminski, MSW, LCSW, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years of experience. She specializes in supporting individuals experiencing anxiety, trauma, parenting challenges, and major life transitions, with a particular passion for working with neurodivergent individuals.
Sarah earned her Master of Social Work degree from Aurora University in 2015 and holds a certificate in working with individuals with ADHD. Drawing from ACT, MBCT, DBT, attachment-focused therapy, trauma-informed care, and IFS-informed interventions, she tailors therapy to each client’s unique experiences and goals. Her approach emphasizes self-compassion, nervous system awareness, and practical skill-building to help clients to better understand themselves and create meaningful, lasting change. She strives to show up as her authentic self to allow for a therapeutic relationship grounded in trust, curiosity, and genuine connection.
Sarah believes therapy should be a place where you don’t have to mask or explain yourself. She enjoys helping clients better understand how their minds work, build on their strengths, and create lives that feel authentic and sustainable. If this sounds like the kind of support you’re looking for, she welcomes you to reach out.
Outside of the office, Sarah enjoys spending time with her spouse and children, traveling, and exploring her creativity through various art forms. She is also pursuing training to become a yoga teacher, reflecting her commitment to mindfulness, personal growth, and holistic well-being.
